Jean Reilly is one of 40 Masters of Wine in the United States. She spent most of her career in New York City, where she worked as a sommelier, a journalist and in retail. Jean has traveled to over 60 wine regions across four continents and worked at wineries in New Zealand and Burgundy. She was the Director of Purchasing for the Morell & Company wine store, the Morrell Wine Bar in New York’s Rockefeller Center and also for JJ Buckley in San Francisco. She recently relocated to Central Florida where she runs a company that puts on corporate events around wine beer and spirits. She also owns a WSET school, Slate Wine Academy. When not educating, consulting or talking about wine, Jean can be found jumping out of airplanes.
