The Wine Education Council is pleased to host a series of seminars with Jamie Goode, on dates and locations to be announced. Dr. Goode, who holds a Ph.D. in plant biology, authored the prize-winning book The Science of Wine: From Vine to Glass and writes widely for such wine publications as Decanter, Harpers, and London’s Sunday Express. His website and related blog The Wine Anorak are among the most followed wine sites.
Dr. Goode’s classes will address issues of wine chemistry such as alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the process of élevage, reduction, the use and misuse of sulphur, premature oxidation, and other wine flaws including cork-taint and “mousiness
The seminars will take place in Los Angeles & San Francisco. The schedule will be released as soon as locations and dates are finalized.
