Down the Rabbit Hole with Alice Feiring
Alice provided an overview in the context of the natural wine craze—the “overnight” sensation that took 40 years to develop. Alice introduced the principal influences in and main influences on the natural wine movement and discussed various issues and controversies, including why traditional protocols for rating wines don’t apply to natural wines. Seminar participants experienced the full spectrum of wines that fall under the rubric “natural”: from weird, funky, and raw, to elegant, well-mannered, and evolved.
